★★★★★ USMLE Step 2 CK Tutoring
I was stuck in the 220s-low 230s after 3 weeks of studying and was beginning to get concerned that my score would not improve past the 230s. During my initial phone call with Emily she immediately reassured me that she didn’t think I was stuck and that I was most likely not studying the correct way. During the first week of our time together she told me to slow down the amount of questions I was doing and to utilize the USMLE Step 2 book for answer choices. During our sessions, Emily had comprehensive reviews on topics so that if I saw a question on the same topic again that I could get it right. She was encouraging and helped me plan when to take practice tests and how far to push my exam. During the first week itself I saw my score jump to the high 240s. After another week of Emily’s method of slowing down and making sure to learn each answer choice as well as our sessions of high yield topics I hit 255. During the last few days, Emily made herself very accessible to me with any last minute sessions I needed and provided a game plan for what to study the last few days, such as Ethics/QI and going through my incorrects on free 120 together. Her calmness and confidence always calmed me during this difficult month. I want to apply general surgery and before meeting Emily was losing hope that I may not be able to apply. Although I haven’t received my score yet, I am confident that my sessions with Emily was my time best spent and she gave me hope of scoring above 250. Emily’s in depth knowledge on every single topic in the USMLE Step 2 book is not only impressive but inspiring for the kind of physician I want to be- someone who knows the ins and outs of medicine as well as has a knack to pass that knowledge on to others in an excited and patient way. …...Score Update: 259 – Raveena J.

Emily was an amazing tutor for Step 2 preparation. I found her tips and study schedule to be very practical and easy to follow. When I started preparing for Step 2, I felt a little lost among all the resources available to me. Emily met with me and helped me develop a focused plan outlining exactly which resources I would use. Together, we built a detailed study schedule that included my goal test date, the number of questions I should be completing each day, and when I would take practice exams. Our sessions focused on the areas where I was weakest, and she was able to go into detail on high-yield topics such as EKGs and arrhythmias. We also covered pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and surgery topics that are frequently tested on Step 2. Her explanations were always clear, and she had a great ability to break down complex concepts into simple charts and frameworks that I could continue reviewing on my own long after our sessions ended. – Elizabeth J.

Emily was Super Super Helpful for USMLE Step 1 Prep! She has been helping me go over questions and concepts from UWorld, NBMEs, etc. in addition to adding her own high yield tips and information I should know for the test. I am super grateful for her help and flexibility. Emily makes concepts very easy to understand and places an emphasis on understanding rather than memorizing. She has recommended countless resources for specific topics I have trouble with and is super knowledgable on what Step 1 likes to test on. I highly recommend her for any medical student studying during basic sciences and for step 1. She is better than many professors I’ve had before! – Natali

Emily is amazing. I really like the way that she tutors. She figures out your way of learning and uses it to help you. She goes into deep details of things and is not afraid to explain it differently if you are still not understanding the material. Joanna
